May 16-17, 2025 - 6:30/8:30 PM

the cell theatre

338 West 23 Street, New York, NY 10011

In 1925, a disgraced medium and a husband in mourning conducted a covert séance in a tiny apartment on West 23rd Street in Manhattan. The results scandalized a city. 100 years later, acclaimed pianist Vicky Chow ("One of our era’s most brilliant pianists." - Pitchfork) will perform a program of world premieres in the very space where the eerie event took place. What could go wrong? Join us for an evening of world premiere music, tarot readings, open bar, and (maybe) much, much more.
